Convict and Colony Excursion

As you all know, we are going on an excursion on Friday to learn more about British Colonisation. We have talked in class about what the excursion involves.
I would like to know what you are hoping to see / do on the excursion. What are you looking forward to? What aren't you looking forward to?

We can't wait till tomorrow because the excursion is on.
We also can’t wait till Friday because it’s the last day of the week.
We are looking forward to making our own shelter, eating what they have to eat and heaps more.
We can wait till tomorrow because we have to get chained up and Mrs. M is getting the whip and we are scared that she is going to whip us or spank us (Brandon said that)

I hope Brianna and Brandon meant Mrs Mi! I don't want to be in the stocks!

I am so glad you guys are looking forward to the excursion. I will not have a whip, although there will be an opportunity to see and maybe get some people to demonstrate the stocks!
Let’s hope for a good day tomorrow where we will see and learn lots of interesting things.
Don’t forget to wear your sport uniform and bring your lunch in a plastic bag.
See you at 7.15am tomorrow!

Today was our excursion to Bathurst Goldfields we did 5 activities. The 1st was eating the food they ate and it was disgusting. It was made out of flour and water with golden syrup. The 2nd one was getting chained up and carrying a bag full of heavy rocks. The 3rd one was you had to answer all these questions and get a piece of paper that said that you were still a convict but you could go and look for a job. The 4th one was you got told a story about these two brothers that liked the same girl and they had a competition and the youngest boy stabbed the oldest and that’s how Mount Panarama was built. The 5th one you got to play games and memorize the objects. It was FREEZING but it was a good day.
